Work begins this week to repair and update the heating and cooling systems on the Capitol Campus. The projects will improve safety, and provide cost savings in operating the decades-old systems.
The work is not expected to affect people visiting or working in office buildings on the campus.
The projects include:
- Replacing campus powerhouse chillers (cooling system).
- Repairing the campus steam system (heating system).
- Removing the Governor’s Mansion from the central system.
The first step will be removing the mansion from the central system.
More information, including a Frequently Asked Questions document, is available on the project web page.
