30-day comment period on Capitol Campus parking rate increases opens May 15

The Department of Enterprise Services is seeking public comments regarding the increase of parking rates on the State Capitol Campus. The 30-day comment period begins May 15.

Enterprise Services plans to increase parking fees in July 2017.

Parking fees must be set at a rate that meets financial requirements that call for cost recovery of Capitol Campus operating and capital expenses. As these costs increase, Enterprise Services must make adjustments to meet these financial requirements. A portion of parking fees also goes to the Department of Transportation for the state agency Commute Trip Reduction program.

Submit comments

You can also submit a comment at an informational meeting in the Auditorium of Office Building 2 (OB2) on

The OB2 auditorium is located on the East Campus across Capitol Way from the Legislative Building. The address is 115 Washington St. SE and the auditorium is on the lower level of the building.
