The Tivoli Fountain will be shut off and drained on Sept. 12 for seasonal maintenance and to seal and caulk joints.

Enterprise Service staff will also seek to address leaks occurring in the outer circle of the popular west Capitol Campus water feature, and make adjustments to the fountain's jets.

Since the fountain was already scheduled to be shut down for the season on Oct. 31, it may not be filled again this year. Continued operation of the fountain this fall will depend on successful completion of the maintenance activity, which in turn relies on dry weather.
