Intercity Transit extends Dash hours for inaugural ball

Intercity Transit, the region's public transportation provider, recently announced that Dash buses will run until midnight on Jan. 16 for the Governor's Inaugural Ball.

Dash is the free shuttle service that serves the Capitol Campus, downtown Olympia and the Olympia Farmer's Market.

Parking closures

As noted in an earlier update, the parking area on the south side of the Legislative Building is closed until 5 p.m. on Jan. 18. The area is closed because tents have been set up there for the inaugural ball. The tents won't be completely disassembled until the end of the week.

The south diagonal on the west campus will be closed to public parking Jan. 14-16. And 15 stalls on the north diagonal, near the Winged Victory Monument, will be unavailable on Jan. 15-16.

Also, the visitor parking stalls on the west side of the General Administration Building will be unavailable on Jan. 16 from about 5 p.m. until the next day.
