Maintenance work to impact traffic along Capitol Way morning of June 22
Department of Enterprise Services grounds staff will be doing maintenance work on the Capitol Way traffic islands Thursday, June 22 to improve public safety and to keep the gateway to the campus attractive.
The two inside lanes along Capitol Way, between Sid Snyder and 11th avenues, will be temporarily closed during the work.
The work will begin about 9 a.m. and is expected to be complete by noon.
Flaggers, signs and cones will be present to direct traffic during the work.
The grounds crew will be trimming shrubs that can affect visibility, removing leaves, and doing other maintenance work on the traffic islands.
