May 1 rally could draw 5,000 people to Capitol Campus
The Department of Enterprise Services has issued a permit for the North Thurston Education Association rally. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 1 on the north steps of the Legislative Building.
Event organizers estimate that up to 5,000 people will attend the event, which will impact traffic and parking on the Capitol Campus that day. Event set-up is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.View a complete list of upcoming permitted campus events.
