Noisy excavating work near Office Building 2 on April 4

The City of Olympia on April 4 will be working on a water valve in the lawn area between Jefferson Street and the Office Building 2 east elevator and stair tower.

A city crew will be excavating 6 to 8 feet down to install a tube for easy access to the shutoff valve. The work will not cause interruptions to water service, but could be noisy for employees in Office Building 2, the Natural Resources Building and the 1500 Jefferson Street Building.
