Mission Statement

 

Through learning and development we promote excellence and innovation in Washington State Public Procurement.

The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) oversees the Washington State Training and Certification Program for the procurement of goods and services, as directed by Revised Code of Washington (RCW) chapter 39.26.110

As people join state agencies or transfer to new jobs within the state, they need the training appropriate to their new jobs.There is a 90-day window to take the training. No agency employee may execute or manage a contract unless they have met the new training requirements, according to the RCW.

WA State Contract Management 101

For employees who initiate, manage, monitor or serve on a contract.

For managers with organization or agency authority including ensuring compliance, authorizing organization procurements, agency wide risk management in procurement and delegating procurement authority.

Take your course evaluation and print your certificate of completion

Use of the participant workbook is encouraged during assessments!
The LMS will automatically record successful completion of each course assessment, and you will have the option to print your certificate of course completion. DES will use this system to verify course completion.
Contact your training unit for information on how to take assessments and print certificates if your organization does not use the LMS.
