Reporting Apprentice Hours

With certain exclusions, Revised Code of Washington 39.04.320 requires that no less than fifteen percent of labor hours be performed by apprentices for public works projects with an estimated cost of one million dollars or more.

If the project has a reporting requirement, it will be described in your contract.

Reporting is generally performed on a monthly basis by submitting the STATEMENT OF APPRENTICE/JOURNEYMAN PARTICIPATION along with your invoices.

For further information, please see Contractor Invoice Instructions.

Contractors needing to report apprenticeship hours for projects through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (K-12 projects), please contact Scott Black at scott.black@k12.wa.us.
