Master Contracts for both professional services and purchased IT services.
DES Implements New Master Contract Program - DES has developed and implemented an enterprise master contract program for use by all of our customers. The ITPS Program aligns an important part of the state’s information technology functions with DES, which has primary responsibility for supporting statewide technology services, programs, and policies.
The program will:

Create a reduction in time, effort and cost associated with acquisition process for our customers
-
Provide compliance with the respective competitive requirements for customers
-
Eliminate redundant customer work and associated vendor impact with a centralized approach
-
Increase customers’ ability to respond to urgent needs without violating/avoiding competitive requirements
-
Increase customers’ ability to focus on decision-making vs. operational support
-
Increase the visibility of vendor performance and related information sharing
-
Increase vendor opportunities through annual “refresh” opportunities.
