Public Employees Fidelity Blanket Bond (Employee Crime) covers losses sustained by the state due to fraudulent or dishonest act or acts committed by a state employee. This bond is renewed annually. A copy of the bond and summary of coverage can be found here.
Public Officials Bond provides coverage for loss of money or other personal property sustained by the state of Washington as a result of a public official who fails to do his or her duties as such. The bond covers positions and not individuals who hold the position. The bond is renewed every four years following a gubernatorial election.
