This course is designed to make your job easier by providing you with the information you need to improve the productivity of staff by tackling problems that may arise from alcohol and other drug abuse at your worksite.
    Addressing alcohol and other drug abuse in the workplace is first and foremost a conduct and performance issue – an employee who uses or abuses alcohol or other drugs on the job may at some point be an employee whose performance goes downhill.  You will see it – and this course tells you how to deal with what you see.

      Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course you should be able to:

      • Know your responsibilities and appropriate actions to take.
      • Develop and implement a successful program.
      • Learn how to interview employees
      • Learn what resources are available to you to help your employees

      Competencies covered in this course: Respect and responsibility, basic problem solving
