This half-day course covers changes and updates to ArcGIS that will affect how GIS users, analysts and data stewards interact with their GIS data and environment. Topics covered, software updates, shortcuts, known issues & workarounds, what's cool in ArcGIS 10.x and ArcGIS Online (http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisonline
) It includes demos, exercises, and ample time for student questions and answers.
Performance Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course you should be able to:
- Students will learn how to access the latest software updates, ESRI technical documents & user forums in order to make a smooth transition to ArcGIS 10.x.
- Students will explore the functionality in ArcMap 10.x and gain an understanding of the ArcGIS editing workflow.

Prerequisites: This course requires a knowledge of GIS concepts, and the general functionality of ArcCatalog and ArcMap. Completion of ArcGIS I: Introduction to GIS or equivalent knowledge is required.
