NW Capitol Campus utility infrastructure repair project will remove and replace asphalt the week of Dec. 17

They utility infrastructure repair project on the NW Capitol Campus continues into next week. Work to pour concrete on Water Street SW begins Friday, Dec. 14, and is scheduled to be finished Dec. 19, weather depending. Once the project is complete:

  • Water Street SW at the Capitol Conservatory will be fully open to traffic.
  • All parking stalls and pedestrian walkways on the North and South diagonals will be open.

Asphalt will also be poured on the west side of the Temple of Justice and the southwest end of the Mansion Parking Lot next week. This work will last several hours. The time and date will depend on weather.

Water main replacement work continues on Southwest Capitol Campus, O'Brien Building work is finished

Work to replace a water main line on 15th Ave. and Water Street SW continues and will last until Jan. 11. The work has a minimal impact on traffic and can be expected to create some noise during business hours.

Work to install a new storm water drain to avoid flooding an electrical vault and remove a smaller, redundant vault behind the John L. O’Brien Building is complete.
