The Washington State Learning Management System (LMS) is being updraded and is officially a fully approved project!

Work has begun to establish the foundational components to implementing the new version of LMS. Over the next threem months we will be configuring the base build with the vendor and representatives from more than 50 agencies.

  • Improves enterprise functionality
    • Addresses data sharing at the Enterprise, State and Agency level
    • Agency specific domains
    • Upgraded infrastructure  will allow DES to provide continuous feature updates after project stabilization
    • Standardization that goes beyond LMS enterprise and paves the way for OneWA
    • Roadmap of future releases/enhancements; continuous improvement
  • Increased efficiencies, ease of use for user management through integration with HRMS
  • Single sign-on available through integration with Active Directory FS
  • Provides a robust suite of reporting, including compliance, enterprise and agency reports
  • Supports agency specific process and workflows
