This course introduces the core concepts behind Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Customer Experience (CX) and how they are applied in real organizations. You will learn what CX is, why usability matters, and how HCD practices improve outcomes across products and services. You’ll gain a foundation for understanding customers, collaborating across roles, and making experience-focused decisions.

Performance Objectives: After completing this class, you should be able to:

  • Define customer experience and human-centered design and explain their value.
  • Identify what makes interactions usable and effective.
  • Describe common CX roles and responsibilities.
  • Explain how collaboration and iteration improve experience outcomes.
