In this course, you will learn how to utilize various tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python to analyze data and make informed decisions. You will also learn industry techniques for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data.

Performance Objectives: After completing this class, you should be able to:

  • Analyze data in Excel by using SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT and IF.
  • Summarize large sets of data in Excel using pivot tables, bar charts, and line charts.
  • Understand SQL data using SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, SUM, AVG functions, and join multiple tables in SQL.
  • Create data visualizations in Tableau.
  • Use Python to work with different data types and change or organize data as needed.

Requirements: You need to be able to access and use Zoom for this course. You also need Excel, PostgreSQL, and a free account for Tableau.
