XML/Javascript for the non tech (1 Day)

Have you ever wondered what the other person is talking about when they are talking about when they are working through the Javascript and XML needs of a project?  It is easy to get lost in a language that you don’t touch every day.  This class provides an overarching awareness of the programs so that in conversations there is a common ground to move forward on projects and while working on teams.

 

Finding agile solutions in a technical world and delivering technology in projects can be difficult to find the right understanding.  This is the recommended fourth class of the Technical Solutions Delivery Certificate that provides an overview of understanding that will help in the communication of projects and working relationships.


Class format includes lecture, hands-on exercises, and real world examples.

 



Performance Objectives:
  Upon completion of this class, you should be able to:

  • Describe XML, JavaScript and JSON
  • Determine when each program should be used when working on a project
  • Understand the framework of programming
  • Define Bootstrap and Angular

Competencies Covered in this course:  Overall review of technical structure

 



Intended Audience:
This course is ideal for anyone, but especially communications professionals, who are involved in the conception.  This class is aimed at non IT professionals to gain an understanding with the IT world.

 



Recommended Prerequisite:
To be successful in this course, you should be familiar with using personal computers, the mouse and keyboard. You should be able to use Windows to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders.
