Capitol Campus parking information

Please note: The CTR Employee Day Permit option will be removed from pay meters in the following parking lots on December 31:

• General Administration (GA) Building
• North Diagonal
• South Diagonal
• Intersection of Maple Park Avenue SE & Jefferson Street SE

These areas are for visitor parking. Visitors are not eligible to use Day Pass CTR pay rates.

DES added this option to these lots in 2020, when pandemic-related closures prevented employees from purchasing day permits directly from the Parking Services office.

Visitor parking

Capitol Campus offers paid visitor parking including ADA parking, EV charging stations, and bike racks. Visitors and employees not assigned to work at Capitol Campus can use visitor parking as needed. 

• Visit the Capitol Campus website for information on visitor parking. 

Employee parking permits

Employees that are assigned to work on Capitol Campus can purchase parking permits, paid via payroll deduction. 

Use the online Parking Permit portal to:

• Sign up for parking (new employees)

• Notify of a temporary car change (before 8:30 a.m.)

• Update existing parking information

• Cancel parking and payroll deduction

• Request a replacement parking permit

• Change or renew a Carpool or Vanpool
