Family Medical Leave Act for Supervisors (eLearning)
The Family Medical and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) upholds a fundamental principle: employees should not have to sacrifice their own well-being or the care of their loved ones to maintain their job. FMLA acknowledges that workers are not only vital to the success of a company, but also play a key role in caring for their family’s health and well-being. This training will offer an introduction to FMLA.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify in an employee is eligible for FMLA.
- Outline the certificate process.
- Discuss the process for granting or denying an FMLA request.
