Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Admission is free and events are open to the public. Registration is not required.

"Arrogance, Accusations and Ambitions: Governor Roland Hartley’s Tenure During the Capitol Building Years," presented by researcher and author Lesley Klenk, Ph.D. Learn about Washington state’s 10th governor, his disdain for extravagance and his role in the latter part of the construction of the Legislative Building. Hartley was one of the few politicians who recognized the excess of the 1920s could not last forever.
