DES is procuring janitorial services for the entire state, with multiple awards in each county. In partnership with Tabor 100, we are hosting a free information session to help small, diverse, and veteran-owned janitorial businesses understand the solicitation and how to bid on it.

We will:

• Review prior janitorial services solicitations.
• Provide information on where to find help to bid on the opportunity.
• Answer your questions.

The DES solicitation is for janitorial services at buildings for general cleaning, floor cleaning, and window washing. Janitorial services includes but not limited to emptying trash and damp wipe containers; dusting chairs, sides of desks, top of filing cabinets, paneled walls, doors, ledges, and picture frames within easy reach; damp wiping desk tops, telephones, and desk fixtures; damp mopping floors; vacuuming upholstered furniture and draperies; washing vinyl furniture with cleaning solution; washing doors and other surfaces; spot washing painted walls; cleaning door glass and inside partition glass; and vacuuming and shampoo carpets.
