Spokane-area businesses invited to government contracting workshop

In-person event will introduce small, diverse and veteran-owned businesses to doing business with Washington state

Join us on May 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Spokane for a government contracting workshop.  

Small businesses, including those owned by women, minorities, veterans and others, will learn about:  

  • The basics of government contracts. 
  • How to find contract opportunities. 
  • Where to get technical assistance. 
  • Where to find training, including free and low-cost opportunities.   

You’ll hear from: 

  • Department of Enterprise Services, Washington state’s procurement authority  
  • The City of Spokane 
  • U.S. Small Business Administration  
  • Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for networking and refreshments.
