Capitol Campus Update: DES to close sidewalk on west side of Capitol Way

Where: West side of Capitol Way between Sid Snyder Avenue Southwest and 15th Avenue.
What's happening: DES is replacing the section of sidewalk on the west side of Capitol Way.
Impact: The sidewalk on the west side of Capitol Way, and one of the west lanes of Capitol Way between Sid Snyder Avenue Southwest and 15th Avenue will be closed. Appropriate signage and traffic cones will be used to direct pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
When: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., March 21 - 29
- Sidewalk will be closed 24/7.
- West lane of Capitol Way will be closed during work hours.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Hoffman Construction at Seattle for this effort.
