Capitol Campus Update: DES to temporarily close South Diagonal Road

Replacement of underground pipes will impact traffic and parking.
Where: South Diagonal Road on West Capitol Campus.
What's happening: As part of the Newhouse replacement project, crews are replacing underground pipes under the south lawn and South Diagonal Road.
Impact: The entire South Diagonal Road will be closed to traffic and parking.
When: Monday, July 8 through Monday, July 15.
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Hoffman Construction of Seattle for this effort.
