Capitol Campus Update: Expect traffic delays on Sid Snyder Ave SW during partial lane closure Thursday morning

A partial lane closure of Sid Snyder between Capitol Way and Water Street will cause delays on the morning of Feb. 22, 2024

Where: Sid Snyder Avenue Southwest between Columbia Street and Capitol Way.

What's happening: Partial lane closure on Sid Snyder Avenue Southwest to allow crews to load a large crane onto a trailer to remove it from the Newhouse replacement building construction site.

Impact: Drivers can expect delays as flaggers direct traffic around the partial lane closure.

When: 8 - 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22.

All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Hoffman Construction Co., Seattle, for this effort.
