Where: Plaza Garage pedestrian tunnel leading from parking Level E to Office Building 2, Natural Resources Building, and Highway Licenses Building, closest to the 14th Avenue entrance.

What's happening: DES is replacing the leaking skylights to improve pedestrian safety.

Impact: The pedestrian tunnel will be closed for the duration of the work. Pedestrians should use alternate routes — the closest available ADA route is via the elevator in Stair Tower 4.

Accessible parking is also available on Level D, using the street level north exit. If you need more information about ADA accessible parking options, please contact Parking Services.

A few parking spots will be closed for use by the construction crew, assigned parkers have been notified.

When: Work will take place 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and the tunnel will be closed from April 8-19.

All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Sabyr Contractors, Inc. of Tacoma for this effort.
