As ORM has the authority to authorize state agencies to make direct purchases, it has established a procedure which allows state employees to purchase notary bonds directly from the state broker of record.
Please note that the process for a new or renewal appointment for a Notary Public will take three to four weeks to process. To expedite the process, it is important that the steps below are followed:
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED:
To start the process -- send an email to Notarybonds@alliant.com requesting access to the website to issue your Notary Bond. Joyce Roberts will send you the website and the current password, along with the step-by-step instructions to issue your Notary Bond.
Once issued, Notary Bonds run the four year term of the Notary, there is no cancellation and no return premium.
If you are in need of a Name Change Rider, contact Joyce Roberts and we will issue the Name Change Rider for you. There is no additional charge for a name change.
Joyce is available by phone to help you with any issues you have in processing your Notary Bond.
