Password problems

There are two types of errors that are displayed after a failed login:

  1. Specified User Account Invalid
This error message means that you are attempting to log in to the business site instead of the government site.
    We have two sites:
  2. Invalid Account/Login Failed
This error message means the email address you entered is not the one assigned to the account or the password is incorrect.
    • Click "Forgot My Password?" on the vendor login screen. The system will send a temporary password to the email address associated with the account.

Note: If you do not receive an email to change the account password, check your spam and junk folders.
      • Please add WEBSCustomerService@des.wa.gov to your safe senders list to ensure you receive important messages, including temporary passwords, bidding opportunities, amendment notifications, award notifications, etc.
    • Copy and paste the eight-digit temporary password into the password field on the WEBS login screen. Be careful not to add an extra space.
    • Once you log in with the temporary password, the system will prompt you to create a new password. Your password must be at least eight characters long and contain a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters.
    • If you are still unable to log in, email WEBS customer service or call us at 360-902-7400.
