Franklin Covey Leading at the Speed of Trust

Course Code: 01-09-M603

Trust is an economic driver that always impacts two measurable outcomes: speed and cost. When trust is absent, relationships decay, projects fail, customers shift to competitors, initiatives perform poorly, and work slows down significantly. Building trust starts with you as a leader. Participating in this highly interactive work session will increase your personal credibility and develop specific behaviors that foster trust. As a result, you will be better equipped to manage change and lead high performing teams that are agile, collaborative, innovative, and engaged.

A critical part of this workshop involves a pre-work assignment to be completed before the class. You will be receiving information about two weeks before the workshop from the instructor outlining the pre-work assignment that includes a benchmark assessment.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Build your own case for trust.
  • Increase personal credibility.
  • Behave in ways that inspire trust.
  • Align teams, symbols, systems, and processes with principles of high trust.
  • Improve your team’s reputation.

Intended Audience: Leaders, supervisors, and managers.
