StrengthsFinder 101
Gallup’s StrengthsFinder is regarded as “the number one tool to increase emotional intelligence at work.” Unlike many traditional assessments, StrengthsFinder is data-driven, engaging, and memorable. This interactive workshop helps you learn how to use strengths-based language at work. You’ll discover your own talents and learn to appreciate the unique skills of your coworkers.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify the crucial difference between a talent and a strength.
- Leverage your strengths for impactful situational leadership.
- Gain insight into colleagues’ motivations, natural talents, and roles within the team.
Requirements and Responsibilities: When you enroll in this course, you agree to complete the CliftonStrengths Assessment at least one week before classes start. You’ll need to buy the book “Now Discover Your Strengths,” which includes access codes for the assessment. Each participant must have their own book and access code. Note that the book's cost isn't included in the course fees. After finishing the assessment, please email your results to your instructor at least a week before class begins. Failure to complete the assessment will result in removal from the course, and your agency will be invoiced regardless of your participation level.

Sales Tax Notice: Effective October 1, 2025
In accordance with Washington State law (ESSB 5814), sales tax will be applied to all training services. In addition to the course cost, sales tax will be calculated based on your agency's location and added to your final invoice after the class is completed.
