Editing PDFs in Adobe Acrobat®
This course teaches you skills for managing PDF’s using Adobe Acrobat, including creating new PDF files and editing strategies for modifying existing PDF files.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Access Acrobat tools and menu options.
- Convert Microsoft Office files to and from Acrobat PDF format.
- Update and edit existing PDF files.
- Embed source documents within a PDF to speed later edits.
- Easily combine multiple source files into a single PDF.
- Add navigation shortcuts to PDFs using bookmarks and hyperlinks.
- Lock and protect PDF files using Acrobat’s security features.
Prerequisite: You will need to access your own Adobe account in the computer lab during class. Please create and log in to your free trial 1-2 days before class to address any potential issues ahead of time.
