Procurement Customer Advisory Group (PCAG)

The purpose of PCAG is to: provide a forum for direct agency input to procurement strategy for Washington State; provide advice and agency perspectives regarding procurement policies established by DES; develop collaborative recommendations for changes to procurement laws, policies and priorities; and, to develop, lead and participate in initiatives of interest to support these subjects. Washington Association of Contract Specialists (WACS)

The purpose of WACS is to: provide a forum for the interchange of ideas and information; and, to enhance the professionalism of governmental contract personnel. Objectives include: serving as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about governmental contracting; identifying contracting issues of statewide significance; increasing the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the governmental contracting process; and, providing training to its members on governmental contracting issues. Washington State Contracts & Procurement Training Advisory Group (TAG)

The Department of Enterprise Services with agency and higher education representatives make up the Contracts & Procurement Training Advisory Group (TAG). Procurement reform law (RCW 39.26.110) requires employees of state agencies and higher education who are responsible for developing, executing, or managing procurements or contracts to take DES approved training on best practices for state procurement.
