Environmental Procurement Preference Training

Procurement professionals who write solicitations are required to take the WA-State Environmental Procurement Preference training. This course includes important information about different environmental purchasing topics.

To take the training, log in to the Washington State Learning Center and search "WA-State Environmental Procurement Preference."

Within three months of completing this course, you will receive three optional, one-minute training boosters.

WA-State PCBs & Procurement training provides professionals who develop procurements with the tools they need to reduce PCBs in Washington's waterways.

Requires state agencies to give preference to purchases of electronic products that meet environmental performance standards for reducing or eliminating hazardous materials.

DES-255-00

Requires state agencies to give preference to purchases that contain recycled material and designates specifications for the purchases of products containing recycle material.
