Excel: Creating Dashboards
Dashboards (sometimes called infographics) are a great way to share information in a visual, easy-to-understand format. Excel is a familiar tool that can help you do this effectively.
In this class, you’ll learn how to pull useful information from your raw data and turn it into visuals that help decision-makers quickly see key trends and insights. Using tools like Excel charts, PivotTables, PivotCharts, slicers, conditional formatting, data validation, Sparklines, hyperlinks, and advanced formulas, you’ll learn how to turn your data into clear, dynamic visual dashboards.
Performance Objectives: After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Create range names and advanced formulas.
- Automate workbook functionality.
- Apply conditional logic.
- Create basic charts to visualize data.
- Create trend lines and Sparkline charts.
- Use PivotTables, PivotCharts, and slicers.
- Build and develop dynamic data models in a dashboard or report format.
Prerequisite: We recommend you complete Excel 2016-2019 Level 1 or have equivalent experience before taking this class.
