First Aid, CPR, AED - Re-certification

This course is an overview for students who have already completed the basic First Aid, CPR, and AED training, are within a year of their certification expiration date, and wish to be re-certified. The class is taught at a rapid pace and covers the entire CPR class curriculum with hands-on activities and lectures. CPR procedures and AED use are covered in full detail.

NOTE: The instructor will provide First Aid/CPR cards that are effective for two years from the date of issue to those participants who successfully complete the course.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Approach an emergency safely.
  • Know the laws that apply to lay responders.
  • Administer CPR.
  • Use an AED.
  • Demonstrate the principles of First Aid.

Intended Audience: Employees who are required to have a Basic First Aid card as stated in WAC 296-800-150. This is a re-certification course and is intended only for those who have completed the basic 8-hour course within the past three years. If your two-year certification card has been expired for more than a year, you must retake the eight-hour First Aid, CPR, and AED course.

Sales Tax Notice: Effective October 1, 2025 
In accordance with Washington State law (ESSB 5814), sales tax will be applied to all training services. In addition to the course cost, sales tax will be calculated based on your agency's location and added to your final invoice after the class is completed.
