Being an Effective Sponsor of Change
The power of sponsorship is more than just managing people, it's about being clear on what changes need to happen and why. It can be articulating your vision for change in ways that are meaningful enough so others will agree with you - and then creating coalitions who understand this as well!
This half-day course will provide current or future leaders of change with proven tools and tactics that will increase their understanding and effectiveness as a sponsor of change. The results of which will positively influence their organization’s ability to achieve the desired results.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Articulate three key characteristics of an effective sponsor.
- Perform a self-assessment related to sponsorship best practices and identify tactical actions to improve.
- Identify steps to create and grow an inclusive change coalition.
