Articulate Storyline: Tips, Tricks, and Gamification

In this course, you will expand on the skills acquired in Articulate Storyline Essentials and Articulate Storyline Beyond the Essentials to create advanced interactions and graphics. We will mix self-guided work with step-by-step how-to’s, best practices, as well as explore several different ways to accomplish the same task, allowing you to find your own process when working with storyline.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to create the following elements:

  • Custom menus.
  • Looped graphics & audio.
  • Adding descriptive narration including enable/disable options.
  • Speech-to-Text (must have storyline 360).
  • Understand how and when to use gamification for content retention.
  • Accessible games that take your interactive elements beyond quiz questions.

Intended Audience: Participants that need and want to create interactive professional e-courses that reach beyond the boxed eLearning element.

Recommended Prerequisite: Participants should be comfortable using Articulate Storyline 2 or 3, including creating triggers, quizzes, motion paths, variables, inserting text boxes, shapes, buttons, characters, and pictures, as well as basic publishing of Storyline projects. 

Requirements: Storyline 3 or 360 (free trial version is acceptable, but some features may not be available)
