Articulate Storyline: Tips, Tricks, and Gamification
In this course, you will expand on the skills acquired in Articulate Storyline 3 & 360: Essentials Level 1 and Articulate Storyline 3 & 360: Beyond the Essentials Level 2 to create advanced interactions and graphics. Using a mix of self-guided work, step-by-step instruction, and best practices, you will explore several different ways to accomplish a task, allowing you to find your own process when working with storyline.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Create custom menus.
- Loop graphics and audio.
- Add descriptive narration and include enable and disable options.
- Use speech-to-text (must have Storyline 360 to use this feature).
- Understand how and when to use gamification for content retention.
- Create accessible games that take your interactive elements beyond quiz questions.
Prerequisite: We recommend you take Articulate Storyline 3 & 360: Essentials Level 1 and Articulate Storyline 3 & 360: Beyond Essentials Level 2 before taking this course. You should feel comfortable using Articulate Storyline to create triggers, quizzes, motion paths, variables, insert text boxes, shapes, buttons, characters, and pictures. You should also be comfortable with the basic publishing process for projects. You must have access to a PC with a Windows operating system and Articulate Storyline 3 or 360. The free trial version of Articulate Storyline is acceptable, but some features may not be available.
Intended Audience: All audiences who create eLearnings and have experience with Articulate Storyline.
