Sliding door on Legislative Building to be replaced

On March 31, the automatic sliding door on the southeast side of the Legislative Building will be replaced. It has exceeded its life expectancy of more than 15 years and needs to be replaced before total failure occurs.

The sliding door serves as the main Americans with Disabilities (ADA) entrance to the building. The south portico doors will be unlocked during business hours March 31-April 3 to allow for ADA access.

Visitors and tenants can expect to hear noise related to general construction over the weekend. The door is expected to be open for use by April 4.
