This course will provider learners with an overview of section 508 and WCAG 2.0 compliance, as it relates to eLearning courses. Students will learn steps to take to ensure courses developed in Articulate Storyline are accessible and in compliance with section 508 and WCAG 2.0. A basic knowledge of Articulate Storyline is recommended but not required.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Review section 508 and WCAG 2.0 requirements for eLearning courses
• Experiment with an online color blindness simulator to find appropriate color schemes
• Practice creating closed captions using a variety of tools
• Make changes in Articulate Storyline course files to make a course keyboard accessible
• Review tips for creating alt-text for course objects
• List design restrictions and alternatives associated with accessibility
• Describe ways to test courses for accessibility
