Opiate/Opioid use in the Workplace for Managers
The epidemic of Opioid use in the modern world remains a staggering problem in today’s world. This course is designed to help managers get acquainted with the diverse groups that may be involved in opioid addiction and the reasons why persons in these groups may fall into addiction. Students will learn the differences between opiates, and opioids. This course is an extension of the material taught in the Basic Plus CPR course.
Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to: Know the difference between opiates and opioids
Know the various groups involved in opioid overdose Know how Naloxone and Narcan work
