This interactive workshop teaches you the fundamentals of coaching as both a philosophy and a practice to support a healthy and effective learning environment at work. It develops your listening and inquiry skills and teaches you how to give and receive feedback. You will also have ample opportunity to practice these skills and receive feedback.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Apply coaching skills at work and in the classroom.
  • Be a more engaged listener.
  • Apply best practices when both giving and receiving feedback to create a positive feedback culture at work and in the classroom.
  • Ask good questions that support learning and collaboration on work teams and in the classroom.
