In this interactive workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of coaching as both a philosophy and a practice to support a stronger and more effective learning environment at work. Improving listening skills, giving and receiving feedback, and inquiry skills are the keys to becoming a stronger coach. Participants will have lots of opportunity to practice and get feedback after learning skills & frameworks for coaching in this workshop.

Performance Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Understand what it means to apply coaching skills at work and in the classroom.
  • Be more engaged listeners.
  • Apply best practices when both giving & receiving feedback to create a feedback culture at work and in the classroom.
  • Ask good questions that support learning and collaboration on work teams and in the classroom.

Intended Audience: Program Coordinators, Directors, Managers, Classroom Teachers, and any staff who have a coaching or mentoring role.
