The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program has recognized the Washington State Capitol Campus Arboretum with international accreditation for providing a place for relaxation, education and beauty for people who visit and work on the Capitol Campus.

DES has completed an environmental review for the Legislative Campus Modernization (LCM) Global program, which will govern a series of actions on a segment of the West Capitol Campus. The environmental review is called a non-project, or "programmatic," State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) checklist.

Success stories

When employees began working from home, government agencies had to adjust how they sent and received mail. DES' Consolidated Mail Services adjusted with them to keep the business of government working smoothly.
The Washington National Guard used DES' contracting and project management services to get a 39,000-square-foot readiness center constructed for national guardsmen training.
In need of a generator to power large-scale water filtration projects, JJH Earthworks turned to DES and the federal surplus program available to veterans who own small businesses.

Get Capitol Campus Emergency Alerts from Everbridge

WA Agency Alerts is the emergency notification system for the Washington State Capitol Campus. It uses the Everbridge application to notify you in a variety of ways about imminent threats to health and safety.

When there's an incident on Capitol Campus that's a potential safety risk or imminent threat, the system sends alerts to a registered device.
